For my first review, I would like to start off with “milk and honey” by Rupi Kaur. This book was nothing short of brilliant and inspiring and it left me itching to grab a pen and write. The imagery present was raw and vivid and her message of self-love and acceptance was very uplifting. It made me stop and think about how I felt about myself. The illustrations were a great touch too! It was a great compliment to the poetry.
This is definitely a book that I will be picking up again! Thanks for reading!
