The first few hundreds of migrants are arriving in the capital of Mexico on their way to the United States border.
A stadium was prepared equipped with water tanks each holding around 10,000 litres of drinking water, in order to allow the now 5000-strong migrant caravan to rest as it heads towards what it hopes will be the gateway to a better life.
President Donald Trump on the other hand, says that they will be met with US troops sent to block them from entering the country illegally.
